Sportswear company Puma will be the official outfitter for German football club RB Leipzig from next season, CEO Arne Freundt said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Puma, which will replace Nike as the club's official supplier, currently has contracts with Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Heidenheim in the Bundesliga.

A statement released by Leipzig said: "Starting from 1st July 2024, the world-renowned sports brand from Herzogenaurach will become “exclusive partner” and kit out all the club’s teams from the men’s, women’s, youth and eSports departments, as well as the football school.

"Fans can therefore look forward to wearing RB Leipzig jerseys by Puma from the upcoming 2024/25 season.

"Apart from supplying kits to the different teams, Puma also secured wide ranging rights for sponsorship, merchandising, match day advertising in the Red Bull Arena and the RB Leipzig Football Academy, as well as digital activations."
