Borussia Dortmund chief Sebastian Kehl admits they'll have to break their transfer record to keep hold of Jadon Sancho.

On loan from Manchester United, Sancho will be offered to BVB for a fee of €50-€60 million (£43-£51 million) to be signed permanently.

Their current record is the €35 million (£30 million) they paid Rennes for Ousmane Dembele.

In an interview with Sky Sports Germany, Kehl said: "Realistically speaking, the chance is not that great. United paid a large sum for him. It was important for us to take this player on loan for six months.

"We'll see what happens in the summer. The salary is one thing, but the transfer package is something else.

"If he continues to develop, it will be difficult for us as Borussia Dortmund to sign this player."
