David Raya (27) - Brentford
Two Spaniards were in contention for the goalkeeper spot this week, with Raya and Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga shining for their respective sides.
With seven saves each, it was hard to separate the two, but Raya's performance in Brentford's 2-0 win against Brighton and the quality of his saves - notably from Solly March and Lewis Dunk - warrants his selection in the Team of the Week.
Joe Gomez (25) - Liverpool
Many fans expected the worst when Liverpool's team news was announced, with Gomez partnering Virgil van Dijk in central defence against the rampant Erling Haaland.
However, the Englishman put in a dominant display and kept the Norwegian quiet throughout the game as Liverpool claimed a valuable 1-0 victory against City.
Gomez won possession back ten times, completed six clearances and three tackles, and won four duels against the reigning Champions.
Gabriel (24) - Arsenal
Arsenal scraped a 1-0 win away to Leeds on Sunday and leaned heavily on their defensive players to secure all three points.
Gabriel has come under some criticism for his performances this season, with some seeing him as rash and a weak link in the back four, but he put in a superb showing against Leeds.
Winning all eight of his duels, making four blocks, four clearances and three tackles. the Brazilian was key to his side's victory - despite some late antics from Patrick Bamford nearly seeing him wrongly sent off.
Virgil van Dijk (31) - Liverpool
The second member of the Reds' defence to feature in the Team of the Week, Virgil van Dijk was equally as important to Liverpool's victory as Gomez was.
Van Dijk was back to his best against Haaland, Phil Foden and Kevin de Bruyne, keeping arguably three of the best players in the league at bay. Like his defensive partner, the Dutchman dominated by winning possession four times and completing seven clearances.
His 69-game unbeaten run in the Premier League at Anfield continues.
Lisandro Martinez (24) - Manchester United
While United fans will be disappointed with their 0-0 draw against Newcastle, a big contributor towards their clean sheet was Martinez.
The Argentine defended well throughout and kept the opposition at bay when he was called upon. He won 100% of his tackles while recovering the ball seven times and winning both of his ariel duels.
Mohamed Salah (30) - Liverpool
The Egyptian scored the only goal of the game against City, racing through late in the second half to give Liverpool a much-needed victory.
Playing in a more central role, Salah was a threat all game and scored the winner, despite his side being under pressure for the majority of the second half. A goal like that will be crucial to boosting the morale at Anfield this season.
Ruben Neves (25) - Wolves
Wolves have struggled for goals, but Neves stepped up when needed to convert from the penalty spot as they earned their second win of the season as they beat Nottingham Forest 1-0.
Aside from his penalty, the Portuguese midfielder bossed the game by making three tackles, winning possession six times and winning six of his duels against a physical Forest midfield.
Mason Mount (23) - Chelsea
Mount scored both goals in Chelsea's 2-0 win against Aston Villa, seeing the Blues pick up their sixth win of the season.
A strike in either half from Mount was enough for Graham Potters' side to earn the victory and move three points clear of Manchester United in the top four, despite being under heavy pressure for much for the game at Villa Park
Harry Kane (29) - Tottenham Hotspur
Kane was crucial to Spurs' 2-0 win over Everton. He scored from the penalty spot to make it five goals from five games, his longest-scoring run in the Premier League - which bodes well for England going into the World Cup.
His goal also took him 258 in total for the club, just eight behind Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves (266).
Ivan Toney (26) - Brentford
Toney netted both goals in the Bees' 2-0 win against Brighton, further proving his credentials ahead of the World Cup in November.
The Englishman's classy backheel finish for the first goal sums up how confident he is right now, and it showed in his performance as he moved to third in the league's scoring charts, behind only Kane and Erling Haaland.
Dominic Solanke (25) - Bournemouth
A goal and an assist for the former Chelsea and Liverpool striker meant the points were shared in Bournemouth's 2-2 draw against Fulham, as the Cherries continue to defy expectations on their return to the Premier League.
Solanke has been involved with 50% of Bournemouth's goals this season and proved again on Saturday that he will be key to their chances of staying up.
